Connection. Celebration. Engagement. Leadership.

A message from Methanex

On October 13, Methanex’s Corporate Development team will be running in the Whistler 50 Relay. We have entered an 8-person team that will complete the 80 km course in scenic Whistler.

As a team we decided that we wanted to use this opportunity to raise money for a cause that we are passionate about. We have decided to partner with the Mount Pleasant Neighborhood Hous because we believe strongly in their mission of building a healthy and engaged neighbourhood.

The Social Responsibility Committee at Methanex will be generously matching the funds raised. We will be donating the proceeds to complete the new parklet in front of Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood Housewhich acts as a front porch for the whole neighbourhood. This parklet has been a three-year collaboration to build a place for people to enjoy the outdoors and provide kids a safe place to play. The goal is to create an inviting space where everyone in the neighborhood can find a place to belong.

Make a donation!

You'll receive a tax receipt from for any donation of $25 or more. Methanex will match what you give.
