This is an 8-week program open to newcomers and immigrants who want to further develop their community and volunteering leadership skills in Canada. Using a Learning Circle approach, the training will strengthen intercultural relationships and networking among participants.

You will learn:

• Leadership, networking and community connection skills.
• Topics relevant to social change, gender justice, food security and the environment, advocacy and community development.
• How to develop and deliver your own community-base project.
• How to tap into local resources and services and have the opportunity to connect with local partners and mentors.
