An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Tuesday, repeating until December 12, 2018
This program support parents, grandparents and caregivers with children 3, 4,5 to best support their child’s pre-literacy and school’s readiness. Parents meet every week for 12 weeks with a community facilitator who is trained in how best to mentor and coach parents. Parents learn how to best connect with their children, nurturing parent-child attachment and making it easier for them to do fun pre-literacy activities together at home. Parents and children get to enjoy lunch together and connect with other parents. Childcare, transportation fares and learning resources are provided to families for free. Registration is required.
