A message from the Community Board, Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House:
As members of the Community Board of Directors, we wanted to take a moment to reach out to all of our neighbours, friends, and supporters, and let you know we are all with you and thinking of you.
We also wanted to take a moment to recognize and thank the amazing staff and volunteers at MPNH, who continue to work to enrich the House and the community.
Over the last several weeks, we’ve witnessed the staff and volunteers at the House quickly change gears and adjust programming as required during this time of COVID, as they continue to find innovative ways to foster and support community.
The programming at the House continues with everything from English Conversation over Zoom, childcare for frontline workers, digital literacy programs, intergenerational and youth drop-ins online, meals for seniors, assistance in finding COVID relief programs, a Seniors Outreach Strategy, and more.
Our deepest, heartfelt thank you goes out to all of the staff and volunteers who have made this happen, and to all of our supporters, whose contributions to the House make all of this possible.
