Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House is an integral part of the diverse, vibrant, and most multicultural neighbourhood in Vancouver. We envision ourselves as a community thriving in connection, celebration, engagement and leadership.
Since our humble beginnings in 1976, Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House has been connecting neighbours and building a better neighbourhood. We have developed a rich history of working with community to create innovative programs and services to meet local people’s needs. Today, our House serves everyone from infants to seniors. We foster social inclusion for new Canadians from 40+ countries, Indigenous people from many nations, plus folks from all walks of life and every generation.
We welcome more than 7,200 people to our House each year, and serve 27,500+ meals and snacks to our neighbours!
We want to get to know you better and what’s better for that than a BLOCK PARTY? We are looking to throw a party on Saturday, October 19 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. with free lunch from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and entertainment from performers from the Mount Pleasant community from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
We need your approval order to apply for the Block Party’s license!’
